  Getting 2 stars only cuz we waited OVER 3 HRS to get a swollen throat checked out! Are there no doctors that work here? It literally took an hr between each appearance by personnel. OMG, if you have all the time in the world to spend by yourself, this is the place to go. If you want to get looked at or are worried about how your child feels, I suggest you go elsewhere. This is not the place for "urgent" care. Ugh!

  I don't expect to go to urgent care for a life-changing experience in patient care, however, my experience at Gunderson Urgent Care was abysmal. I was not "critical", however, I was in obvious need of medical attention, and upon both arrival and departure. the waiting room (and most exam rooms) were empty. I waited for over an hour, was seen by a nurse practitioner for no more than 3 minutes. With basically a quick look and two questions about my symptoms I was diagnosed and given an Rx. Then I was left waiting for another 45 minutes before I could get the attention of a nurse who realized I was never processed for discharge. Had this been a first bad experience I would chalk it up to short-staff, or some other external factor, but having visited Gunderson's Urgent Care clinic several times now I have come to understand that this is how they approach patient care.
